Geolok Released

Fulfilling one of our targets for this year we are proud to announce that we have released Geolok, a visitor geolocation extension for Joomla that allows you to target content and banners based on user location and user status.

Geolok allows you to extract following information of the user who is currently viewing the page:

• IP Address
• Country
• City
• Areacode
• Longitude
• Latitude
• Browser
• User ID
• User Group
• User Name

What is special about Geolok is that not only it comes pre-built with three free geolocation services or that it integrates with Kulendra.Net products, it is also that Geolok can easily integrate with any 3DP extension through Request, Session or Global variables to provide geolocation and user status information. Imagine being able to get one plugin and with hardly any changes map information from it to any extension in your website!

For 3DP developers and system integrators/implementors, Geolok also allows to implement custom geolocation services just by extending the geolocation class. All you need to do is to extract the information from the geolocation service, Geolok takes care of the rest by automatically assigning the extracted values to the Session, Request and Global variables.
